The day after the election I called my financial advisor and agreed to move money into the sectors that did well under the 1st Trump term. And those that would benefit from further deregulation as well NOC.

I won't be surprised if stocks finish higher tomorrow. Having a leader with balls is never a bad thing.

Probably shutting stores in BLUE communities due to "peaceful protesting"

A company cannot survive but so much looting

Antithesis,
Further down in your story there's this;

"While the company is closing stores by the end of next year, it also announced plans to open around 30 new stores by the end of this year."

So a net of just over 30 underperforming stores will close, tell me what cities they're in and I'll bet there's other reasons behind the closures.

I'm down to one Whopper a month, during Biden I could have them whenever I wanted. I treated myself once a week. I miss the good old days of good food, NO WARS, citizen not being deported.

Kroger is closing more than 60 stores due to the struggling economy, losing almost $100 million in the first quarter of 2025...

It's never a good sign when grocery stores are closing! If people can't afford food...

What are you doing to prepare yourself for a second round of inflation and a collapsing economy?

I tried planting potatoes. They flowered, then just... disappeared! I dug up the soil and there wasn't anything in there at all! Even the seed potatoes were gone

I moved a portion of my retirement portfolio to ForEx and a hedge fund that counters the Dow.

And I'm holding off on any new big purchases... I could use a new car, but hopefully this one will survive another 6 years.
