I make the best hashed browns. Has to be a day old baked potatoe shredded right out of the refrigerator. Lightly tossed with fresh green onions, a palm full. Chives if you got em'....chunks of things left over, ham off a bone, whatever. Then you brown a clove or two or three of garlic, depending on your mood in Peanut Oil. You can substitute peanut oil with whatever grease you have and some folks prefer bacon grease, whatever.

Anyhoo, form into patties and drop in the grease, and I am claiming, best potatoes ever!

Then again, my mother made these boiled potatoes in parsley that I could a gallon of.
