I have never tried to fry them like potato chip or added jalepeno to them. I will try that sometime.

I slice thin and fry in olive oil sorta like sweet potato chips, salt lightly

we like them this way--- dice the sweetpotatoes pan fry with chopped fresh jalepeno and some onion salt and pepper to taste very good

I cook mine like this sometimes and I learned how by the way my grandma cooked hers in a cast iron skillet. I slice mine and fry them in butter ( ) and then add the cinnamon and brown sugar and eat and worry about the fat and calories later

Does anyone on here pan fry their sweet potatoes? I like baked sweet potatoes, but if they are large sweet potatoes I cut them into chunks and pan fry them in butter or margarine. When they are done, I add brown sugar and cinnamon to them, cooking a few more minutes to dissolve the brown sugar.
